Thirty Years of Psychic Insights
In more than 30 years of giving psychic and mediumship readings, I have witnessed something truly remarkable: the questions people ask have fundamentally changed.
What started as a search for timing and external outcomes has evolved into a deep desire for personal growth, self-awareness and soul-level understanding.
In this article, I share my honest observations – based on thousands of sessions – about how client questions have shifted from 15 years ago to today.
What this says about our collective awakening, and what it means for anyone seeking guidance in 2026.

The Big Shift
Looking back on more than 30 years of giving psychic and mediumship readings, one thing stands out very clearly: the type of questions clients ask has changed dramatically.
The biggest shift I see is from “When?” to “How?”.
Fifteen years ago, the large majority of questions were focused on timing and external outcomes.
Typical questions in that period were:
- When will I meet my life partner?
- When will I get married?
- When will I get pregnant?
- When will I get a new job or more financial freedom?
- When will I move house?
- Why do bad things keep happening to me while others seem to have all the luck?
more empowered questions such as:
- What can I change in myself so I can attract a healthy new partner?
- Who are my spirit guides and how are they helping me?
- What can you tell me about my past lives and any recurring patterns?
- What is my soul mission or soul passion, and how do I recognize it?
- Am I a starseed?
- Can I learn remote viewing?
- Why do I keep attracting the same type of partner, and what can I do to change that?
- Is my current partner a soulmate or a twin flame?
- What am I meant to learn from my relationships?
- How can I manifest faster and more effectively?
- How do I know whether I am in my head or my heart?
- Do I have a past-life connection with my children?
- How can I create more self-awareness, peace and balance?
- My child is highly sensitive – how can I best support them?
- I feel more like the parent than the child toward my own parents – what can I do?
- Why do I enjoy being alone so much?
- How can I learn to communicate with my guides and loved ones myself?
The Most Striking Difference
The biggest change is the willingness to do the inner work.
People no longer want to wait passively for life to happen to them. They want to become the best version of themselves first so that they can attract the right energy and people.
They have moved from “let fate decide” to “I want to take the steering wheel and grow.”
From Proof to Depth
In my early years, I did many large group readings where the main request was “proof”: a name, a specific memory, or a detail that proved the loved one was really there.
That was enough for most people at the time.
Today the energy has deepened. Clients want the deeper meaning behind the messages.
Interestingly, the information coming from spirit has also become deeper.
It feels as if humanity as a whole is experiencing a massive consciousness growth spurt – often called “the awakening.” I am incredibly happy with this development.

The Rise of Spirit Guide Consultations
When I first started offering dedicated spirit guide consultations (learning who your guide is, your past-life connection, their role in your life, and your soul passion), there was almost no interest. Many people wondered what they would even do with a guide.
From around 2010 onwards, this changed completely. There was suddenly a long waiting list, and people started giving spirit guide consultations as gifts to others.
In 2026, it has become completely normal for people to journal with their guides. For me, these deep consultations are among the most fulfilling sessions I give.
I also learn a lot from the wisdom the guides share with my clients. Every person receives unique guidance because every soul is unique.
My Personal Boundaries as a Medium
I am very aware of the responsibility that comes with this work.
That is why I have a few clear rules:
- I limit most clients to a maximum of two readings per year. More frequent calls often result in repeated information and can create an unhealthy dependence. I encourage clients to record sessions so they can listen back when they need reassurance.
- I am a psychic and trance medium, not a psychologist. When deep psychological patterns surface, I always recommend seeking professional therapeutic help.
- I am very clear upfront: I do not predict death, serious illness, or perform “love spells” to bring an ex back. Nobody can ethically do that. I also speak out against so-called psychics who promise to return an ex within 48 hours. That is both nonsense and harmful to vulnerable people.

Conclusion
Looking back, I am filled with gratitude and hope.
As humanity, we have made an enormous leap in consciousness in a relatively short time.
From passively waiting for life to happen to actively wanting to become the best version of ourselves and co-create our reality. That is a beautiful evolution.
The spirits I communicate with have also become deeper and wiser in their messages. It feels as if they are meeting us at the new level we are reaching.
