When Spirits Come Through in Murder Cases

Messages of Love, Truth and Healing

Some of the most difficult readings I do are those involving murder.
As a medium, I never know in advance what a spirit will share, but when a loved one has died violently, the messages are often very clear, urgent and full of love.

Here are two real stories from my practice.

The young man who was shot without reason

A mother sent me a photo of her son, a young man in his early twenties who had been murdered. She wanted to make contact with him during a phone reading.

The first thing her son said — loud and clear — was:
“I didn’t do anything wrong. They shot me without reason.”
He repeated this three times, and shared more details about the horrible event. He also said that the shooter was arrested.

He then apologized to his mother for all the grief he had caused her. It was so emotional that I had to fight back my own tears.

Later in the reading, his mother confirmed that the shooter had been arrested. There was uncertainty whether this man actually was the shooter but her son confirmed that he was. I was shown that this person would go to prison for many, many years. That brought her some peace.

The daughter and granddaughter coming through

Another mother sent me a photo of her daughter and her granddaughter (a toddler). We had booked a reading for the next day.

While I was looking at the daughter’s photo - a beautiful young woman with a sparkle in her eyes, she suddenly appeared right next to my desk.

She told me, “I went first.”

At that moment, I didn’t know the details, but she showed me that she had been shot first and her toddler daughter an hour later.

She also showed me a tattoo her mother had placed on her arm after the murders in honor of them both. She repeated a couple of times how happy she was that her hair looked so beautiful as she lay in her coffin. The granddaughter showed me happy memories; things she loved to do with grandma when she was alive.

I wrote down what they said and showed me, so that I could share it immediately with their (grand)mother the next day.

During the actual reading, her mother explained that her daughter had been a hairdresser. Hair was everything to her. She had an injury to one side of her head that affected her hair.

After the tragedy, her mother washed her daughter’s hair carefully and styled it exactly the way she liked. She was happy to hear that her daughter was pleased with the result.

Even now, as I write this, tears come to my eyes. I cannot begin to imagine the pain this mother went through.

What these readings teach me

In both cases, the spirits came through with truth, love and small, personal details that only their loved ones would recognize.

They wanted their mothers to know they were okay, that they were not alone, and that they were deeply sorry for the pain they left behind.

These readings are never easy — for the client or for me — but they often bring a deep form of healing.

Even in the darkest situations, love and connection continue.
