On Her Most Important Messages
ParaVisie: What are the most important messages you want to share through your book?
Barbara: “That the soul and every relationship – whether short or long – is eternal. That we often give our brain more credit than our feelings, and how we can turn that around.
How do we all create our own reality? Besides the beautiful readings, I also wanted to describe the challenging consultations, so people get a complete picture of what it really means to work as a psychic and medium.”
On Spirit Guides & Guardian Angels
ParaVisie: In your book, you write about your team of spirit guides and guardian angels. How does this guidance work, and why do they present themselves to you as “Ben”?
Barbara: “Early on, I felt the need for a filter, one clear source of information instead of many different guides and angels speaking at once.
Ben stepped forward and became that filter. All information now comes through his energy, and that feels very safe and familiar to me.
When I receive messages from a deceased loved one during a session, I always let it pass through Ben first. This way, there is no interference, and it works perfectly.
From the intensity of his energy, I can immediately feel whether something is urgent for a client or not.”
On Past Lives & Reincarnation
ParaVisie: You write: “When we are born, we all start with a clean slate.” Does that mean you don’t believe in past lives, karma, etc.?
Barbara: “Of course I do! That sentence is about the moment we are born as a baby.
For many of us, it’s not the first time. On a conscious level, we remember nothing. We don’t remember that we chose our parents, family and life path ourselves.
We don’t remember our challenges, lessons, talents and soul mission. We don’t remember who we were, where we lived, or what we did in previous lives.
And I think that’s actually a good thing, some things would be too heavy for our human brain to carry.
Still, it’s fascinating to explore our soul history and slowly get a clearer picture of who we really are as a soul.”
On Communicating with Animals
ParaVisie: You can connect with both deceased people and animals. Is there a difference?
Barbara: “I really enjoy connecting with deceased animals. The big difference is that people often express regret or guilt.
With animals, I never hear that. They don’t carry hidden agendas. They live purely and understand that death is not an end, but simply a continuation in another form.”
On Finding Inner Peace & Balance
ParaVisie: Almost no one has a quiet mind these days. Do you have any tips?
Barbara: “Put your phone away more often when you feel overwhelmed. A quick tip to calm down: look outside and follow the clouds for a minute or two, or really study a tree and notice every detail.
Put on calm music. Stand up and slowly spin around with your arms outstretched. It sounds strange, but it really works! Just like we did as children, remember?”
On Contact with Deceased Loved Ones
ParaVisie: How long after someone passes can you still make contact?
Barbara: “It varies from soul to soul. A good friend of mine passed away a few years ago, and I had clear contact with her the same day.
She gave a message for her husband to reassure him. She also explained why the dogs had behaved so strangely right after she passed. They could see her soul.
Her husband confirmed the dogs’ behavior and was deeply moved by her message.”
On the Law of Attraction
ParaVisie: “What you think, you become.” Can you give an example of how you apply this in daily life?
Barbara: “It really works that way. I visualize what I want to experience. Sometimes it happens within days, sometimes weeks.
The important thing is to be clear about what you want and why. You have to let go of the ‘how’ – the Universe takes care of that.
Before I go to sleep, I often state what I want for the next day and why. That works very well for me.”
On Intuition & Ethics
ParaVisie: Is it ethical to confirm to a client that their partner is cheating, as you describe in your book?
Barbara: “Often, people already feel it strongly in their gut, but their mind makes them doubt. When I can confirm what they feel, it gives them clarity so they can take the next steps.
We are here to learn, and lessons come in many forms.”
On Life After Death
ParaVisie: What happens after we die?
Barbara: “Death is not an end, but a transition to another state of consciousness.
After leaving the physical body, the soul enters a non-physical reality. There is a period of reflection in which you review your life from a broader perspective, not with judgment, but with understanding.
You then have freedom to choose your next steps: reincarnation, exploring other dimensions, or resting and healing. Consciousness is eternal. We never stop learning and growing.”
On Highly Sensitive People (HSP)
ParaVisie: How have you benefited from your own high sensitivity, and what tips do you have for others?
Barbara: “High sensitivity often comes with high emotional intelligence. It helps you make better choices and see through bullshit quickly.
I call it a superpower. Highly sensitive people often need alone time to recharge and absorb information.
Accept who you are and shape your life in a way that feels good to you, not how others think it should be.”
Final Thoughts
ParaVisie: You’ve been in this work for a long time. What changes have you noticed?
Barbara: “I see a beautiful shift from ‘When will I meet my partner?’ to ‘What can I do to become ready for the right partner?’
People are taking more responsibility for their own growth. That makes me very happy.
The younger generation is already so wise. They communicate with their guides and understand the law of attraction.
I have great faith in the future.”
