Beginners Guide to Remote Viewing

Have you ever suddenly known where something was without being told? Or had a clear mental image of a place you’ve never visited? That could be a glimpse of remote viewing, one of the most fascinating psychic abilities.

In this beginner’s guide, I’m going to explain what remote viewing really is, how it works, and give you simple, safe ways to start practicing it yourself.

What Is Remote Viewing?

Remote viewing is the ability to see or sense people, places, or objects that are far away, without using your physical eyes. It’s a natural psychic skill that many people have to some degree, even if they don’t realize it.

It’s not magic. It’s simply tuning into the universal field of information that connects everything. Some people call it “psychic Google Maps.”

How Does Remote Viewing Work?

Remote viewing usually happens in a relaxed state. You set a clear intention (“Show me where my lost keys are”) and then allow images, feelings, or words to come to you without forcing them.

It’s not always 100 % accurate at first, but with practice it can become surprisingly reliable.

Simple Ways to Start Practicing

Here are two easy exercises for beginners:

Lost item exercise: Think of something small you’ve lost in your house. Close your eyes, take a few deep breaths, and ask your guides or higher self to show you where it is. Notice any image, feeling, or word that comes up. Then go look.
Remote viewing a person: Ask a friend to sit in a specific room in their house and do something simple (hold a colored object, read a book, etc.). Without telling you what they’re doing, try to “see” them remotely. Write down what you sense and compare later.

Real-Life Example

I often use remote viewing to help people find lost items. One client had lost an important family ring. She was heartbroken because it had belonged to her grandmother. I tuned in and clearly saw the ring inside a small blue box at the back of her sock drawer. She went straight there and found it exactly where I described. She was amazed, and so relieved.

These moments remind me how helpful this ability can be in daily life.
