“First, I want to say that we see your grief. We feel and see your joy, but also your tears. We are well aware that a death has a huge impact on a person’s life.
Death feels like ‘coming home’ for a deceased person. No one can decide for you how long you need to grieve. You and no one else determines this. The deceased helps to alleviate the grief, together with the guides.
It can be healing to make a memorial site for yourself somewhere in the house — for example, on a cupboard or shelf. Place a picture of the deceased with a candle or candles, and add some of their personal belongings. Sit there as often as you want, talk to them, and express your feelings. This really helps in the grieving process.
This is your time with those you miss. The intention is that you use these moments as part of your grieving process — ‘giving the grief a place in your life.’ You consciously take time to mourn for as long as you need to.
Do not hesitate to seek professional help if you need it. The deceased do not want your life to be determined by grief. They want you to continue and find joy in life again.
From our side, there is no farewell — they can visit you whenever they want. They are not in a grieving process, simply because there is no separation from their point of view. They have only said goodbye to their physical body. They are now home, surrounded by love and peace.
Be grateful for the time you shared on earth. A joyful reunion will happen sooner than you think. In your heart, you are never truly separated from those you love.”
